Category: Alarm
Cause
Condition: When P2.081 = 1, the drive checks for missing pulses. This alarm occurs if the missing pulse count exceeds P2.082. Causes:
- Pulses are lost during motor operation.
- The pulse signal is affected by noise.
Corrective action
- Check whether noise interference causes missing pulses in the motor encoder feedback.
- If an interference source exists, check as follows: (a) Verify that the motor grounding terminal is properly grounded; connect the power cable grounding conductor (yellow-green) to the drive heatsink (Heat Sink). (b) Use shielded feedback signal cable. Separate signal cables from power cables and high-current wiring to prevent interference.
- If the encoder feedback is a square-wave digital signal, check whether excessive motor speed exceeds the hardware maximum reception limit of 20 MHz (after 4-fold multiplication).
- In addition to eliminating noise sources, appropriate filtering can remove noise when the encoder uses square-wave digital signals. When the main encoder signal comes from CN2 (PM.003.U = 0), configure PM.003.Z; when it comes from CN5 (PM.003.U = 1), configure P1.074.U.
- Use P1.055 to limit the maximum motor speed.
- Check that P2.083 is set correctly. Power on again to clear.
