[Cause]
During automatic zero calibration (empty closing motion) for wear measurement, a gun mastering instruction was executed after an electrode tip had moved to a position different from the position where contact was detected. This alarm occurs in the following cases.
A. The program was paused during empty closing motion, the gun was opened by jogging or similar operation, and the measurement program was promptly restarted, after which a gun mastering instruction was executed.
B. During empty closing motion, a gun mastering instruction was executed while the gun had dropped (opened) under its own weight.
C. During empty closing motion, contact was detected while a gap remained between the electrodes. A gun mastering instruction was then executed after the gun axis had dropped (closed) under its own weight or had been moved manually to the closed position.
[Countermeasure]
A. Perform wear measurement again.
B. Increase the mastering applied force or change to an orientation in which the gun will not drop freely (open), then perform wear measurement again.
C. Perform wear measurement again. If this occurs repeatedly, adjust the gun again. For details, see Appendix F1.1 of the Servo Gun Function Operator's Manual.
