[Cause]
For R:1, motion stopped during the upper surface search. Check that sufficient distance has been secured between the panel upper surface and movable electrode tip at the search start position. If not, increase the movable-side start position electrode tip distance (SD). For R:3, motion stopped during the lower surface search. Check that sufficient distance has been secured between the panel lower surface and fixed electrode tip at the search start position, or check for foreign matter between the panel and electrode tip. If the distance is insufficient, increase the fixed-side start position welding tip distance (SD); if workpiece lower surface detection distance is enabled, increase it. For workpiece lower surface detection distance settings, refer to Lower Panel Detection Distance Clamp (workpiece lower surface detection distance) or SPTCH_RSD Instruction (SPTCH_RSD instruction) under Spot Program Touchup Function in Servo Gun Function OPERATOR'S MANUAL. If foreign matter is present, teach a position that avoids it. Execute spot program position correction again. If the problem recurs, take the following countermeasures:
1. Acquire diagnostic data for this condition. The diagnostic data acquisition procedure is described under Troubleshooting in Spot Program Touchup Function in Servo Gun Function OPERATOR’S MANUAL.
2. After this alarm occurs, before performing other operations (power-off or jogging), use the abnormal-state recording function (Abnormal state record in the auxiliary menu) to obtain an image backup and contact the service center. If abnormal-state recording cannot be used, record the conditions and operating steps leading up to the alarm, obtain an image backup and contact the service center.
