Description
The force sensor detects a signal with a higher noise level than expected.
Task: arg
Program reference arg.
Consequences
The force control application cannot run.
Possible causes
Noise signals may be caused by vibrations of the tool attached to the sensor.
It could also be an electrical problem, such as poor grounding or inadequate shielding from other equipment, such as power tools, causing electromagnetic interference in measurements.
Recommended actions
If the likely cause is vibration, it is recommended to try modifying the tool to reduce the vibration. It can also be tested by running the RAPID command with a tool that turns off vibration during FCCalib or FCLoadId.
If there is no visible vibration, you should check to see if it is an electrical interference issue.
Use TuneMaster to compare signals 1001 - 1006 in the following situations:
- The robot is in motor off state
- The robot is running through slow jog control.
- Electrical tool in operation
The sensitivity level of the check can be modified using the Noise Level parameter. This parameter belongs to the FC Sensor type under the Motion topic. However, changing it is only recommended after the cause of the problem has been confirmed and this level has been confirmed to be too low.
