Error handling: Motor power OFF.
Error reset: Possible.
Description: The emergency stop switch contact states do not match between safety circuits 1 and 2. Emergency stop locations include the operation panel, teach pendant, and external emergency stop.
Main causes:
-
The external emergency stop circuit is incorrect or incorrectly wired, or only one circuit is connected.
-
The emergency stop line has an open circuit (is not connected) or a ground wire problem.
-
A problem with the emergency stop switch on the operation panel or teach pendant.
-
A problem with the power sequence board.
-
A problem with the motherboard.
Countermeasures:
-
Check the circuit and wiring of the external emergency stop switch, and correct the circuit if necessary.
-
Press each emergency stop switch in turn to identify the faulty connection.
-
Replace the emergency stop switch or harness in the faulty operation panel or teach pendant.
-
Replace the power sequence board.
-
Replace the motherboard.
Reference: On the teach pendant screen, select <Display 1> → → <Safety Circuit Monitor 1> to check the safety circuit status. For details of the safety circuit monitor, refer to the Operation Manual.

CAUTION
Before working on the safety circuit wiring, make sure that the controller power is turned off. If the wiring touches the enclosure while the controller power is on, the emergency stop circuit fuse will blow.

[NOTE]
- This error does not occur if the safety circuit is configured as a single circuit.
- This error can be reset only when the single and double circuits are both open (OFF) at the same time. If either circuit is closed, the error cannot be reset.
