Category: Alarm
Cause
- When powered by the drive: speed exceeds 8,800 rpm.
- When powered by the battery: speed exceeds 10,000 rpm.
- Low voltage at the instant of switching to battery power causes loss of the servo absolute position.
Corrective action
- Ensure that the motor grounding terminal is securely grounded. Connect the power cable grounding terminal (yellow-green) to the drive heat sink (Heat Sink).
- Check whether the encoder signal cable is normal. Separate the encoder signal cable from power cables and high-current wiring to prevent interference.
- Use shielded encoder cable, bring out the shield, and ground it correctly.
- Check motor speed and ensure it is within the rated range.
- Measure whether the battery voltage is below 3.1V, or replace it with an original battery.
- Check the battery wiring for poor contact. If none of the above measures improves the situation, return the motor to the dealer or manufacturer for repair. Power on again to clear.
