8106
Category: Alarm
Cause
Condition: the position detector generates an abnormal pulse signal. Causes:
- Position detector wiring incorrect.
- Position detector connector loose.
- Poor position detector wiring connection.
- Interference causes encoder communication disconnection.
- Position detector damaged.
Corrective action
- Verify that the wiring matches the recommended circuit in the manual and wire it correctly.
- Inspect CN2 on the drive and the position detector connector for looseness, and reinstall them.
- Check the detector, drive CN2, and both motor ends for poor wiring connections or broken/damaged cables; replace connectors and cables if necessary.
- Monitor the encoder communication error rate P0.002 = -80. If the value keeps accumulating, interference is present; check the following: (a) Verify that the motor grounding terminal is properly grounded; connect the power cable grounding conductor (yellow-green) to the drive heatsink (Heat Sink). (b) Verify that the encoder signal cable is normal and keep it separate from power supply or high-current wiring to prevent interference. (c) Check whether the position detector cable has shielding.
- If the alarm persists after all the above checks, replace the motor. Clear by powering on again.
