Description
A transmission fault was detected between the axis computer and the serial measurement circuit board on measurement link arg in drive module arg.
Consequences
The system enters a "System Failure" state and loses calibration messages.
Possible causes
Causes include poor contact or damage to the cable (shield), especially when using non-ABB special add-on axis cables. It could also be due to a faulty serial measurement circuit board or axis computer.
Recommended actions
- Refer to the detailed instructions in the robot product manual to reset the robot's revolution counter.
- Make sure the cable between the serial measurement circuit board and the axis computer is connected correctly and meets the specifications set by ABB.
- Make sure the cable shield is connected correctly at both ends.
- Make sure there is no extreme electromagnetic interference radiation near the robot's wiring.
- Make sure the serial measurement circuit board and axis computer are functioning properly. Replace the faulty unit.
