8121
Category: Alarm
Cause
Condition: Battery voltage exceeds the specification (> 3.8V), or the encoder signal is incorrect. Causes:
- Battery voltage is too high.
- Encoder internal error.
- Use of an original Delta battery is recommended.
Corrective action
- Check whether the drive has a charging circuit. For example, incorrectly connecting pin 1 (5V) of CN2 to BAT+ causes the drive 5V supply to charge the battery.
- Check whether the battery is installed abnormally (voltage too high > 3.8V).
- Ensure that the motor grounding terminal is securely grounded. Connect the power cable grounding terminal (yellow-green) to the drive heat sink (Heat Sink).
- Check whether the encoder signal cable is normal. Separate the encoder signal cable from power cables and high-current wiring to prevent interference.
- Check whether the position detector cable is shielded. If none of the above measures improves the situation, return the drive and motor to the dealer or manufacturer for repair. Power on again to clear.
