Description
The configuration signature parameters obtained from the external CIP Safety scanner's Forward Open request do not match the values in the robot controller's CIP Safety adapter. The signature is created in the ABB safety configuration report and includes the ID, date, and time.
Consequences
Unable to communicate with external scanner CIP safety.
Possible causes
The safety scanner has a configured signature, but
- The signature does not match the value in the ABB safety configuration report for the CIP safety adapter, or
- The signature of the adapter configuration is "Do Not Use".
Recommended actions
- Verify that the scanner has all parts of the configuration signature ( ID , date, and time) based on the adapter's ABB safety configuration report.
- If you wish to disable signature matching when opening a safety connection, set the Configure Signature parameter in the adapter to "Do Not Use" and disable the signature in the external scanner.
