Category: Alarm
Cause
- Command input simultaneous with servo activation or command input too fast
- External braking resistor too small or short-circuited
- Poor motor cable contact
- Motor cable grounded
- Motor UVW cable short circuit
- Motor burned out;
- Software detected power transistor overcurrent
Corrective action
- Check command input timing; input commands after the servo turns on rdy;
- Measure whether the braking resistor resistance meets specifications and select an appropriate resistor according to the manual;
- Check whether cable connectors are loose and ensure that they are secure;
- Check insulation resistance between the motor UVW wires and motor grounding wire; replace the motor if insulation is poor;
- Check the motor UVW cable connection for short circuits and connect the motor cable correctly;
- Check whether resistance between each pair of motor cables is equal; replace the motor if not;
- Reduce the load. Increase drive and motor capacity, and increase acceleration/deceleration time
