Axis XX command value is outside the motion range. (for E0x series controllers)

Description: In teach mode, check mode, or repeat mode, the command value of an axis exceeded the set motion range (operating restricted space).

The motion range of each axis can be set in auxiliary function 0507. It is normally set to the robot's maximum motion range at shipment.

Main causes:

1. The motion range (working space) setting is incorrect.

2. The program teaches a moving posture near the end of the set motion range.

Countermeasures:

1. Correct the command value.

2. Change the taught points in the program.

Consider the following conditions when changing the motion range settings:

Operating range > mechanical stopper > axis limit switch > set motion range (restricted space).

Mechanical stoppers and axis limit switches are optional; the axes on which they are installed depend on the machine type and structure.

At shipment, an initial settings table is packed with the controller or manual for each robot. Use this table to check the settings. Keep the table for future use. After changing any settings, record the new values. (Examples: changes to options, operating ranges, etc.)
