Cause

Condition: Open circuit at the interface box 26 PIN connector or encoder abnormality. Causes:

1. Incorrect wiring or open circuit at the interface box 26 PIN connector.
2. Encoder abnormality.

Corrective action

1. Reconnect the open circuit, then power on again to clear. Contact the dealer. [ 1. When the interface box is in Switch mode: (a) With the rotary switch at X1 (A,B pulse), check PIN 1 ~ 6 at the interface box 26 PIN connector for an open circuit. (b) With the rotary switch at X2 (A-Sin B-Cos), check PIN 8 ~ 13 at the interface box 26 PIN connector for an open circuit.
2. When the interface box is in Drive mode: (a) With PM.003.X = 0, check PIN 1~ 6 at the interface box 26 PIN connector for an open circuit. (b) With PM.003.X = 1, check PIN 8~ 13 at the interface box 26 PIN connector for an open circuit. ]
3. If the servo system has no interface box connected but AL033 still occurs, return the motor to the manufacturer for repair.
