[Cause]
The welding I/O signal cannot be detected correctly.
[Countermeasure]
1. Confirm that the I/O hardware is connected.
2. Confirm that the port number has been set correctly on the soldering I/O interface.
3. If it is a Lincoln welding power source, since the communication with the welding power source has not been established even once, it is possible that Arclink I/O has not been assigned yet.
4. For a Lincoln welding power source, a phenomenon occurring together with ARC-040 is that “ARC-204 Arclink ch i available” is displayed when communication with the welding power source is established, but “ARC-051 Welding equipment i online:Arclink” may not be displayed. In this nature condition, system variable $IO_AUTO_CFG may be set to FALSE. Set $IO_AUTO_CFG to TRUE and turn the robot controller power off and on again. Arclink I/O is assigned automatically so that communication with the welding power source can be established. If automatic I/O device assignment is not desired because of other I/O devices (DeviceNet, Profibus, etc.) (cases with no emission to set $IO_AUTO_CFG to FALSE), consult our service department.
