Category: Warning
Cause
- External braking resistor wiring has poor contact, is disconnected or is broken.
- When the built-in braking resistor is used, the cable between power terminals P and D is broken or disconnected.
- When an external braking resistor is used, 2002-1Ah (braking resistor setting) is selected incorrectly.
- When an external braking resistor is used, its actual resistance is too high.
- 2002-1Ch (external braking resistor resistance) exceeds the actual external braking resistor resistance.
- Main circuit input voltage exceeds the specified range.
- Load inertia ratio is too large.
- Motor speed is too high and deceleration does not finish within the configured deceleration time; during cyclic motion the motor remains continuously decelerating.
- Servo drive capacity or braking resistor capacity is insufficient.
- Servo drive fault.
Corrective action
- Remove the external braking resistor and directly measure whether its resistance is ∞ (infinity); measure whether resistance between P and C is ∞ (infinity). Replace the external braking resistor. After confirming that measured resistance matches its nominal value, connect it between P and C. Use sound cables to connect the two ends of the external braking resistor to P and C respectively.
- Measure whether resistance between P and D is ∞ (infinity). Directly connect P and D with a sound cable.
- Refer to 5.4.3 Braking settings and set 2002-1Ah: 2002-1Ah=1 (external resistor, natural cooling) 2002-1Ah=2 (external resistor, forced-air cooling)
- Select a resistor with appropriate resistance according to table 7-3 IS620N series braking resistor specifications.
- Set 2002-1Ch to match the actual external resistor resistance. 3/4/5. Check 2002-1Ah; measure the actual external resistance between P and C and compare it to determine whether it is too high; check whether 2002-1Ch exceeds the actual external resistance between P and C.
- Measure whether the main circuit input voltage at the drive side meets the following specifications:
◆220V drive:
RMS value: 220V
240V; permissible deviation: -10%+10% (198V264V). ◆380V drive: RMS value: 380V440V; permissible deviation: -10%+10% (342V484V). Adjust or replace the power supply according to specifications. - Refer to 6.2 Inertia identification to identify rotational inertia, or manually calculate total mechanical inertia from the mechanical parameters. Check whether the actual load inertia ratio exceeds 30.
- Inspect the motor speed curve during cyclic motion to determine whether the motor remains in deceleration for a long time.
- Inspect the motor speed curve for a single cycle and calculate whether maximum braking energy can be fully absorbed. 7/8/9. Use a higher-capacity external braking resistor and set 2002-1Bh to match its actual value; use a larger-capacity servo drive; where permitted, reduce the load, increase acceleration/deceleration time, and increase the motor operating cycle.
- Replace the servo drive with a new one.
