Category: Alarm
Cause
Conditions:
- During detection, the motor moves farther than 1/3 of a motor pole pair or pole pitch, preventing completion of initial magnetic field detection.
- After Servo On, the servo automatically detects the magnetic field. If detection is not completed within 4 seconds, this alarm appears.
- The motor brake has not been released, motor operation is not smooth, or the mechanism locking screws have not been removed, preventing the machine from operating. Causes: When the user chooses not to install Hall sensors (Hall sensor use disabled, PM.003.Y = 0), the servo automatically detects the magnetic field after Servo On. This alarm appears if the servo cannot detect the magnetic field.
Corrective action
- Confirm that the feedback signal source is correct; check PM.003.U in the motor parameter identification wizard.
- Check the feedback signal for abnormalities. In the software oscilloscope, select Feedback Position PUU as the channel type and monitor whether the feedback values are correct.
- Check whether the motor and mechanism can operate normally.
- Check whether friction between the motor and mechanism is excessive. If so, try increasing PM.011. Increasing it by 50% at a time for testing is recommended.
- Check whether the motor moves excessively during initial magnetic field detection at power on. In the software oscilloscope, select Feedback Position PUU as the channel type, monitor whether the feedback values are correct, and try reducing the initial magnetic field detection current at power on set in PM.011.
- If an interference source exists, check as follows: (a) Verify that the motor grounding terminal is properly grounded; connect the power cable grounding conductor (yellow-green) to the drive heatsink (Heat Sink). (b) Use shielded feedback signal cable. Separate signal cables from power cables and high-current wiring to prevent interference. Reset the alarm.
