[Cause]
PowerWaveErrorCode No.36 occurred. The welding equipment stopped because its temperature rose. This alarm usually occurs when the output duty cycle exceeds the specified value. Insufficient airflow inside the welding machine or a faulty fan or thermostat may also cause it.
[Countermeasure]
Check whether the parts used during welding exceed the welding equipment duty-cycle limit. Check that adequate airflow is provided and inspect the entire welding system, including its surroundings. Check that the welding system has been properly serviced and inspected, including the cooling air passages inside the welding machine and removal of dust or debris drawn in and accumulated at the intake. If the problem persists, before performing any other operations (power-off or jogging) after this alarm occurs, use the abnormal-state recording function ("Abnormal State Record" in the auxiliary menu) to obtain an image backup and contact the service center. If that function cannot be used, record the conditions and operating steps up to the alarm, obtain an image backup, and contact the service center.
