Description
In the Visual SafeMove configuration of CIP Safety Scanner, the Ethernet/IP device arg defined in the I/O system configuration does not exist.
Consequences
- Unable to perform safety communication with CIP.
- The CIP safety configuration signature ( SCID ) generated in the ABB safety configuration report is invalid.
Possible causes
Visual SafeMove CIP Safety Scanner The arg device does not exist in the configuration.
Recommended actions
- Verify that the device is added to the Visual SafeMove configuration.
- Verify that the device has the same name in I/O system configuration and Visual SafeMove.
