Cause

1. Drive UVW output cable short circuit or short circuit to ground
2. Motor UVW short circuit or short circuit to ground
3. Internal drive short circuit or short circuit to ground
4. Interference causes the drive to report this fault incorrectly

Corrective action

1. If the cable has a short circuit between UVW phases or between UVW and ground, repair or replace the cable.
2. If the motor has a short circuit between UVW phases or between UVW and ground, replace the motor.
3. Disconnect the drive UVW output wiring; if the fault persists, replace the drive.
4. Improve the equipment electromagnetic environment through proper wiring and cable routing, increased grounding conductor cross-section, and added ferrite cores.
