8490
Category: Alarm
Cause
- Supply voltage exceeds the specified range
- Insufficient external regenerative resistance or regenerative resistor capacity, or continuous regenerative operation
- Continuous negative load causes continuous regenerative operation
- The capacity set in parameter Pn600 is lower than the external regenerative resistor capacity
- Excessive external regenerative resistance
- Servo unit fault
Corrective action
- Measure the supply voltage and set it within specification. 2. Reconfirm operating conditions or capacity, change the regenerative resistance and regenerative resistor capacity, and readjust operating conditions.
- Confirm the load applied to the running servo motor; reconsider the system, including the servo, mechanism, and operating conditions.
- Check the regenerative resistor connection and Pn600 value; correct parameter Pn600.
- Confirm whether the regenerative resistance is correct; change to the correct resistance and capacity.
- The servo unit may be faulty. Replace the servo unit.
