[Cause]
This alarm occurs when the I/O values assigned to offline equipment or circuit boards are changed or referred to. Reasons for offline include cases of offline and manual offline due to errors.
[Countermeasure]
Place online the device or board assigned the I/O that caused this alarm. For DeviceNet I/O, the circumstances in which this alarm occurs are
explained here. First, open the DeviceNet screen under I/O. A list of boards is displayed; check the status column. If it is OFFLINE, place it ONLINE. If it is ERROR, first check that the DeviceNet board is inserted into the backplane. When using a PC104 motherboard, check that the DeviceNet board is firmly inserted. Then check that power is supplied to the network. If these items are correct, place the board ONLINE. Once the board is ONLINE, open the device list screen and check the status column of the device assigned the I/O that caused this alarm. If it is OFF, establish conditions that allow communication with the device and turn it on. If it is ERR, check the following 4 points. 1) The device is connected to the network. 2) All devices on the network have the same baud rate. 3) No other device on the network uses the same MAC-Id. 4) Press the NEXT key on the device list screen and press change display to check that the displayed device mode matches the actual mode.
WARN Device offline
[Cause]
This alarm occurs when you change or refer to the I/O values assigned to the offline DeviceNet equipment. Reasons for offline include cases of offline and manual offline due to errors.
[Countermeasure]
First check which I/O number caused this alarm. Then open the I/O assignment interface. The rack number of the assignment containing that number identifies the DeviceNet board number, and the slot number identifies the Mac-Id. Place online the device or board assigned the I/O that caused this alarm. Open the DeviceNet interface under I/O. After resolving the problem, place the device ONLINE on the device list interface.
