Consequences
Unable to communicate on EtherNet/IP network.
Possible causes
The specified address is on a subnet reserved for another Ethernet port. The two Ethernet ports on the controller cannot be on the same subnet.
For example:
EtherNet/IP Port: 192.168.125 . x
Management Port: 192.168.125 . x
Note:
Subnets in the range 192.168.125 . xxx - 192.168.130 . xxx are predefined and cannot be used.
Recommended actions
- Change the address to another subnet.
- Restart the controller.
