Cause
The regenerative resistor capacity parameter (P1.053) is not 0 and no external regenerative resistor is connected, or the brake circuit is open. Only drives rated 5.5 kW or above have this detection mechanism because they have no built-in regenerative resistor.
Corrective action
- If regenerative resistor braking is used, connect the external regenerative resistor securely, then check that P1.053 is set correctly.
- If regenerative resistor braking is not used, set resistor capacity P1.053 to 0. If AL095 persists after these two checks, return the drive to the manufacturer. Reset the alarm.
