Subcode description
Error from welder 6.
Causes and remedies
| Cause | Remedy |
|---|---|
| Arc welding power supply (abnormal) | Check the following items. 1. Check whether the welding torch or power cable is grounded. 2. Check whether the contact tip is touching the workpiece to be welded. Avoid contact between the contact tip and the workpiece during welding. 3. Check whether the encoder cable is damaged. 4. A broken encoder cable, loose screws, or similar problems can cause an abnormally high wire-feed speed, resulting in output overcurrent. Replace the encoder cable or tighten the terminal block screws. |
| Other | If the alarm occurs again after implementing the countermeasures, contact our service department and describe the circumstances when CMOS.BIN was saved (operating procedure, etc.). |
