Description
In drive module arg, drive unit the rectifier unit at position arg detected a loss of communication with the host computer.
Consequences
The system cannot operate until the fault is corrected, and the system will enter the "system interruption" (SYS HALT) state.
Possible causes
The communication link cable between the host computer and the rectifier unit is damaged, the rectifier unit is not properly grounded, or the communication signal is interfered with by excessive noise.
Recommended actions
- Check that all cables are properly connected.
- Check the connection of the rectifier unit to the logic supply.
- Check/replace Ethernet cable.
- Check for other hardware event log messages.
- Check the event log for power supply unit error messages.
- Check the wiring between the power supply unit and the rectifier unit.
- Check the 24V output of the power supply unit.
