Cause

1. Reassess the system, including the servo, mechanism and operating conditions.
2. Rotational energy during DB stopping exceeds the DB resistor capacity.
3. Servo unit fault.

Corrective action

1. Do not drive the motor with external force.
2. Try the following: reduce commanded servo motor speed; reduce rotational inertia; reduce the frequency of DB stops.
3. The servo unit may be faulty. Replace it.
