Description
The YRC1000 previously stores the connected I/O modules, and checks the presence of each module on startup. This alarm occurs if there is any module whose presence cannot be identified.
Subcode description
A communication error with the IO module board connected to serial bus No. 4 was detected when control power was turned ON.
Causes and remedies
| Cause | Remedy |
|---|---|
| Software (incorrect setting) | Check the following settings. • Rotary switch setting specifying the slot number of each IO module • IO module setup in maintenance mode: Refer to the manual for each IO module for details of the configuration procedure. |
| Cable (abnormal) | 1. Turn the power off and back on. 2. If the alarm recurs, check that the following cables and connectors are connected and fully inserted. • MⅡ communication cable of the IO module for the corresponding station number • Terminating resistor (at the final station of MⅡ communication) • 24V power supply for the corresponding IO module |
| IO module (abnormal) | 1. Turn the power off and back on. 2. If the alarm recurs, replace the following boards. Save CMOS.BIN before replacing the board. • Applicable IO module |
| AIF01 board (abnormal) | 1. Turn the power off and back on. 2. If the alarm recurs, replace the AIF01 board. Save CMOS.BIN before replacing the board. After replacing the AIF01 board, load CMOS.BIN saved before the alarm occurred. |
| Other | If the alarm occurs again after implementing the countermeasures, contact our service department and describe the circumstances when CMOS.BIN was saved (operating procedure, etc.). |
