Category: Warning
Cause
- Encoder fault
- Motor encoder wiring abnormal (for example, a broken wire)
- Motor encoder wiring subject to interference (for example, no shielded twisted-pair cable, coupling with motor power cables, or an insecure drive grounding connection)
- Strong interference sources near the drive
Corrective action
- Replace the encoder
- Check the motor encoder wiring and ensure that it is correct and meets wiring requirements
- Add ferrite cores to the encoder and motor power cables
- Securely connect the drive grounding conductor
- Remove strong interference sources around the drive, or the drive and nearby strong interference sources separately
