Description
The bleeder resistor connected to the rectifier unit at drive unit position arg gives a short circuit indication.
Consequences
Operation is disabled until the fault is corrected and the system enters the "motor off" state.
Hazardous High Voltage: When the system is powered off, the DC link may not be discharged.
Possible causes
This may be caused by a faulty bleeder resistor or its cable.
Recommended actions
Dangerously high voltages may be present.
- Make sure the bleeder resistor cable is correctly connected to the rectifier unit.
- Disconnect the bleeder, check the cable and measure the bleeder resistance value. Expect the resistor value to be around ohms.
- Check for a short circuit between the bleeder circuit and protective earth.
