Cause

1. Encoder fault
2. Servo unit fault

Corrective action

1. ・For an absolute encoder, set up the encoder again (Fn008). If the alarm still occurs frequently, the servo unit may be faulty. Replace the servo motor. ・For a rotary absolute encoder or incremental encoder, the servo motor may be faulty. Replace the servo motor.
2. The servo unit may be faulty. Replace the servo unit.
