[Cause]
The detected workpiece upper surface (panel upper surface) exceeds the workpiece upper surface detection range. Check the spot program position correction status screen.
[Countermeasures]
Take the following countermeasures:
1. Check that the panel is set correctly.
2. Check that there are no obstacles on the panel upper surface.
3. Check the panel thickness. This alarm is likely if the panel is much thicker than specified.
4. Check the maximum detection distance range (workpiece upper surface detection range) on the spot program position correction settings screen. For the workpiece upper surface detection range, refer to Max Detection Distance (workpiece upper surface detection range) under Spot Program Touchup Function in Servo Gun Function OPERATOR’S MANUAL.
5. Check that the gun mastering position is correct. If it is incorrect, the workpiece upper surface may not be detected correctly.
6. Check that wear has been measured correctly. If the wear amount is incorrect, measure it again. If the problem continues after these countermeasures, take the following countermeasures.
1. Acquire diagnostic data for this condition. The diagnostic data acquisition procedure is described under Troubleshooting in Spot Program Touchup Function in Servo Gun Function OPERATOR’S MANUAL.
2. After this alarm occurs, before performing other operations (power-off or jogging), use the abnormal-state recording function (Abnormal state record in the auxiliary menu) to obtain an image backup and contact the service center. If abnormal-state recording cannot be used, record the conditions and operating steps leading up to the alarm, obtain an image backup and contact the service center.
