Description
The welding voltage is not able to be detected.
Subcode description
Error from welder 7.
Causes and remedies
| Cause | Remedy |
|---|---|
| Arc welding power supply (abnormal) | 1. Check whether the voltage detection wire has come loose. For MOTOWELD-RP500 and EL350, check that the voltage detection lead or short-circuit cap is connected to connector CON7. For MOTOWELD-RL350 and X350, check that the voltage detection lead selector switch is set to "Base metal". 2. Check whether the contact tip is touching the workpiece to be welded. Avoid contact between the contact tip and the workpiece during welding. 3. A momentary power failure may have occurred. Restart. 4. When using a voltage detection wire, check that the base-metal-side voltage detection wire is connected to the base metal. 5. When using an AC power supply, check that the welder output cable and AC unit output cable are wired correctly. 6. When using an AC power supply, check that the AC unit's power is turned on. |
