[Cause]
PowerWaveErrorCode No.81 occurred. The wire feed motor is overloaded. This error occurs if the welding wire is tangled or wound around something, or if resistance is high when pulling wire from the drum.
[Countermeasure]
Check how much force is needed to pull out the wire. Check the drive roll adjustment and gears. Check wire feeding performance. Also check whether the control cable is routed along a power conduit containing welding or ground cables. If the system is in constant-current welding mode and the wire feeder is operating at its upper limit, configure it for the high-speed gear ratio. Move the voltage sensing lead connection point closer to the arc. If the problem persists, before performing any other operations (power-off or jogging) after this alarm occurs, use the abnormal-state recording function ("Abnormal State Record" in the auxiliary menu) to obtain an image backup and contact the service center. If that function cannot be used, record the conditions and operating steps up to the alarm, obtain an image backup, and contact the service center.
