8491
Category: Alarm
Cause
- Excessive internal servo unit supply voltage; open regenerative resistor circuit
- DC power is supplied while AC power input is configured
- AC power is supplied while DC power input is configured. 4. The regenerative resistor capacity (Pn600) is set to a value other than 0, but there is no external regenerative resistor
- The B2-B3 power terminal jumper has come off on a servo unit of a capacity other than those above
- Servo unit fault
Corrective action
- Measure the regenerative resistance using a measuring instrument. When using the servo unit built-in regenerative resistor, replace the servo unit. When using an external regenerative resistor, replace the regenerative resistor.
- Confirm whether the supply is DC; match the power supply setting to the supply used.
- Confirm whether the supply is AC; match the power supply setting to the supply used.
- Check the external regenerative resistor connection and Pn600 value. Connect an external regenerative resistor, or set Pn600 to 0 when an external regenerative resistor is not needed.
- Check the power terminal jumper wiring and connect the jumper correctly.
- The servo unit may be faulty. Replace the servo unit.
