Category: Alarm
Cause
Loaded operation exceeds the drive inverse-time curve for the following reasons:
- Motor UVW cable or encoder cable defective or loosely connected;
- Motor stalled or driven by external force, such as mechanical jamming, collision, gravity, or another pulling force, or operated before the mechanical brake was released;
- When wiring multiple drives, the UVW and encoder cables of the same motor were mistakenly connected to different drives;
- Excessive load or undersized drive or motor;
- Possible phase loss or incorrect phase sequence;
- Drive or motor damaged
Corrective action
- Check the motor UVW and encoder wiring for problems;
- Confirm that the motor is neither stalled nor driven by external force and that the mechanical brake is released;
- Confirm that multiple drives and motors are not cross-wired, meaning that one motor's UVW and encoder cables are not connected to different drives;
- Increase acceleration/deceleration time and select an appropriate drive or motor again;
- Check whether motor output UVW is wired incorrectly or shorted to ground;
- Replace the drive or motor Note: after this fault occurs and power is cycled, wait at least 10min before moving the motor again.
