Category: Alarm
Cause
- Incorrect or poor motor wiring or encoder wiring.
- The load is too heavy, and the motor output effective torque exceeds rated torque during prolonged continuous operation.
- Acceleration/deceleration is too frequent, or load inertia is excessive.
- Inappropriate gain adjustment or excessive rigidity.
- Incorrect drive or motor model setting.
- Mechanical factors cause motor stalling and excessive load during operation.
- Servo drive fault
Corrective action
- Compare with the correct Wiring diagram and check the wiring between the motor, drive, and encoder. Connect the cables according to the correct diagram. Prefer our standard cables. When using self-made cables, make and connect them according to the hardware wiring instructions.
- Confirm the motor or drive overload characteristics. Check whether the drive average load ratio (200B-0DH) exceeds 100.0% for a prolonged period. Replace with a higher-capacity drive and matching motor, or reduce the load and increase acceleration/deceleration times.
- Calculate the mechanical inertia ratio or perform inertia identification, and check inertia ratio 2008-10h. Confirm the single operating cycle during cyclic servo motor operation. Increase acceleration/deceleration times within each cycle.
- Observe whether the motor vibrates or makes abnormal noise during operation. Readjust the gain.
- Check bus motor model 2000-06h and drive model 2001-0Bh. Check the drive nameplate against Section 1.1, set the correct drive model (2001-0Bh), and update the motor model to a matching model.
- Using the Inovance drive commissioning platform or panel display, confirm the operating command and motor speed (200B-01h): ◆Operating command in position mode: 200B-0Eh (input position command counter) ◆Operating command in speed mode: 200B-02h (speed command) ◆Operating command in torque mode: 200B-03h (internal torque command). Confirm whether the operating command is not 0 while motor speed is 0 in the corresponding mode. Eliminate mechanical causes.
- Turn off the power, then power on again. If the fault remains, replace the servo drive.
