Category: Alarm
Cause
Condition: During normal operation, if drive output current exceeds the firmware internal threshold, AL083 is triggered to prevent the IGBT from overheating and burning out because of excessive current. Causes:
- A short circuit occurs in the drive UVW output.
- Motor wiring abnormal.
- The drive analog signal GND is affected by interference.
Corrective action
- Check the motor power cable and its connectors for exposed metal conductors or damaged insulation causing a UVW short circuit. If found, replace the power cable and prevent exposed conductors to eliminate the short circuit.
- Follow the wiring instructions in chapter three of the manual to check the following two items and rewire: (a) If a nonstandard Delta power cable is used, check whether the UVW wiring sequence is correct. (b) Check whether the drive UVW output connection to the motor is missing or incorrect.
- Check whether the analog signal GND is connected to another ground signal (incorrectly connecting another ground signal can cause interference). Do not share the analog signal GND with other ground sources. Rewire according to chapter three of the manual. Reset the alarm.
