Category: Alarm
Cause
Condition: An abnormal status occurs inside the encoder. Cause: The encoder issues an alarm signal, but the encoder alarm status read by the drive contains no error.
Corrective action
- Ensure that the motor grounding terminal is securely grounded. Connect the power cable grounding terminal (yellow-green) to the drive heat sink (Heat Sink).
- Check whether the encoder signal cable is normal. Separate the encoder signal cable from power cables and high-current wiring to prevent interference.
- Use shielded encoder cable, bring out the shield, and ground it correctly.
- Check the motor speed and ensure it is within the rated range. If there is no improvement, return the motor to the dealer or manufacturer for repair. Reset the alarm or power on again to clear.
