Category: Alarm
Cause
- Incorrect U V W phase-sequence wiring
- At power-on, interference causes incorrect detection of the initial motor rotor phase
- Incorrect encoder model or wiring
- Incorrect, aged, or corroded encoder wiring, or a loose encoder connector
- Excessive gravitational load in a vertical-axis application
- Unreasonable parameter settings cause excessive vibration during servo operation
Corrective action
- Check whether the connections at both ends of the drive power cable correspond individually to the motor cable U V W terminals and drive U V W terminals. Wire in the correct U V W phase sequence.
- The U V W phase sequence is correct, but E234.0 is reported when the servo drive is enabled. Power on again.
- According to the drive and motor nameplates, confirm whether they are our SV660N series drive and servo motor. Replace them with a mutually compatible drive and motor. When using our SV660N drive and servo motor, ensure that 2000-01h=14000. Reconfirm the motor model, encoder type, and encoder wiring.
- Check whether our standard encoder cable is used and whether the cable is aged or corroded or its connectors are loose. Turn off the servo enable signal, rotate the motor shaft by hand, and check whether 200B-0Bh changes as the shaft rotates. Resolder, securely reconnect, or replace the encoder cable.
- Check whether the vertical-axis load is excessive and whether adjusting brake parameters 2002-0Ah~2002-0Dh eliminates the fault. Reduce the vertical-axis load, increase rigidity, or mask the fault provided safety and operation are not affected.
- Check whether an excessively high rigidity level causes excessive vibration during servo operation. Set suitable parameters to avoid excessive servo vibration.
