Description
The YRC1000 previously stores the connected I/O modules, and checks the presence of each module on startup. This alarm occurs if there is any module whose presence cannot be identified.
Subcode description
A communication error with the IO module board connected to PCI No. 1 was detected when control power was turned ON.
Causes and remedies
| Cause | Remedy |
|---|---|
| Software (incorrect setting) | Check the following settings. • PCI slot number in which each PCI board is installed • IO module setup in maintenance mode: Refer to the manual for each IO module for details of the configuration procedure. |
| Cable (abnormal) | 1. Turn the power off and back on. 2. If the alarm recurs, check that the following connectors are connected and fully inserted. • PCI connector of the corresponding IO module |
| IO module (abnormal) | 1. Turn the power off and back on. 2. If the alarm recurs, replace the following boards. Save CMOS.BIN before replacing the board. • Corresponding IO module (PCI board) |
| AIF01 board (abnormal) | 1. Turn the power off and back on. 2. If the alarm recurs, replace the AIF01 board. Save CMOS.BIN before replacing the board. After replacing the AIF01 board, load CMOS.BIN saved before the alarm occurred. |
| EIP board (abnormal) | If the IO module in use is a PCU-ETHIO (EtherNet/IP) board, replace it with a board having the correct firmware version. |
| PROFINET board (abnormal) | If the IO module in use is a CP1616 (PROFINET) board, check the following communication settings configured using the configuration tool from SIEMENS (STEP 7). For details on the setting procedure, refer to the CP1616 manual. • When used as a IO controller: Has the project file been downloaded? • When used as a IO device: Have a device name and IP address been assigned? Was a factory reset performed before assignment? |
| Other | If the alarm occurs again after implementing the countermeasures, contact our service department and describe the circumstances when CMOS.BIN was saved (operating procedure, etc.). |
