Cause

1. The motor rotation direction is opposite to the external encoder installation direction
2. Incorrect installation of the connection between the load position, such as the workpiece table, and the external encoder

Corrective action

1. Check motor rotation direction and external encoder installation direction; reverse the external encoder installation direction, or set the rotation direction in External encoder usage method (Pn002.3) to the opposite direction.
2. Check the external encoder coupling; reconnect the mechanical coupling.
