[Cause]
It may be the following.
1. The camera cable may not be inserted correctly.
2. May be affected by interference leading to a communication error.
3. The camera cable may be broken, or the CCU (for R-30iB, R-30iB Mate) may be faulty.
[Countermeasure]
Implement the following policy responses.
1. Check that the cables related to the camera are connected correctly.
2. Check that the controller and peripheral equipment are securely grounded. If the noise source is unknown, consider the following methods to reduce the effects of noise.
・ Separate the grounding of equipment considered to be a noise source from the controller grounding.
- Shorter camera cables.
・ Install ferrite cores on the camera cable.
・ Wrap the camera cable with zipper tubing to increase shielding.
・ Ground the camera stand.
・ If it is not a camera package, electrically insulate the camera from its stand.
3. Replacement of camera cables.
4. Replace the CCU. (For R-30iB, R-30iB Mate)
5. Replace the camera.
6. If the error occurs sporadically, retrying image capture may prevent line interruption. Set system variable $VISION_CFG.$ECCU_RETRY to 1 to enable image capture retries.
7. If the above measures do not resolve the problem, record the conditions and operating steps, execute the error state recording function, obtain an image backup, and contact FANUC.
