Description
Cross-connect handling I/O signal I/O queue overload.
Consequences
The system will enter the "System Stop" state.
Possible causes
The reason is generally due to too frequent or large-scale signal changes, resulting from the I/O signal acting as actor in the cross-connect.
Recommended actions
- Check cross-connections. Cross-connections are described in the system parameter manual.
- Check how often the I/O signal acts as an activator in a cross-connect.
- If extremely heavy I/O loads occur under normal circumstances and are necessary, check to see if a delay programmed into the RAPID application can resolve the issue.
