Category: Warning
Cause
- Motor or encoder wiring is incorrect or has poor contact.
- The load is too heavy, and the motor output effective torque exceeds rated torque during prolonged continuous operation.
- Acceleration/deceleration is too frequent or load inertia is too large.
- Gain adjustment is inappropriate or rigidity is too high.
- Incorrect drive or motor model setting.
- Mechanical factors cause motor stalling and excessive operating load
- Servo drive fault
Corrective action
- Compare the correct wiring diagram with the connections between the motor, drive and encoder. Connect cables according to the correct diagram. Prefer our standard cables. When making cables, follow the hardware wiring instructions for fabrication and connection.
- Confirm the motor or drive overload characteristics. Check whether drive average load ratio (200B-0Dh) remains above 100.0% for a long time. Use a larger-capacity drive and matching motor, or reduce the load and increase acceleration/deceleration time.
- Check the mechanical inertia ratio or perform inertia identification, and check inertia ratio 2008-10h. Confirm the single cycle during cyclic servo motor operation. Increase acceleration/deceleration times.
- Observe whether the motor vibrates or makes abnormal noise during operation. Readjust the gain.
- Check bus motor model 2000-06h and drive model 2001-03h. Check the drive nameplate, set the correct drive model (2001-03h), and update the motor model to a matching model.
- Use the Inovance drive commissioning platform or panel to check the operating command and motor speed (200B-01h): ◆Operating command in position mode: 200B-0Eh (input position command counter) ◆Operating command in speed mode: 200B-02h (speed command) ◆Operating command in torque mode: For 200B-03h (internal torque command), check whether the operating command in the corresponding mode is not 0 or is very large while motor speed is 0. Eliminate mechanical causes.
- Turn off the power, then power on again. If the fault remains after powering on again, replace the servo drive.
